With building owners, developers, tenants and the Australian public become more environmentally conscious. The decision to go green for your commercial fitout, hotel fitout or refurbishment makes great business sense. There are two rating schemes that help facilitate this process.
Rating schemes are an independent assessment on the environmental features of building design, contruction and refurbishment.
- Green Star, is a national ratings system developed by the Green Building Council of Australia
- Australian Building Greenhouse Rating Scheme, is administered nationally by the NSW Department of Energy, Utilities and Sustainability
